The value of your words is determined by what you do!
Tim Tebow, after Florida's 31-30 loss to Ole Miss last year, publicly and boldly said:
"To the fans and everybody in Gator Nation, I'm sorry. I'm extremely sorry. We were hoping for an undefeated season. That was my goal. Something Florida has never done here. I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this. You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season. You will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season. You will never see a team play harder than we will the rest of the season. God Bless."
Following his speech, the Gators went on to win the National Championship, and Head Coach Urban Meyer immortalized Tebow by putting this quote on a stone plaque which now hangs outside the new football complex attached to The Swamp.
Can you imagine how Tim Tebow would have been perceived had his football team not followed his leadership? He would have been considered a failure, and his quote would have vanished into the ocean of empty quotes and unfulfilled promises. It would have only been used as fuel for jokes said by the Gator Hater Nation. It certainly would have never made it on a wall for all to see, remember and be inspired.

I can remember my coaches in middle school and high school telling me… “Don’t tell me…SHOW ME!” In other words...

The greatest example of actions speaking louder than words is found in the Bible!
