Looking forward to the Journey of a New Year and New ministry

I am excited about 2010 as Lisa and I start our ministry with River Hills Church. If there is one word 2009 could be characterized by it would be "JOURNEY".  It has been a journey of patience, faith, believing and prayer that has led us to the place we are today. I have a peace that passes all understanding because God is faithful! He will provide! I am taking to heart the words of the classic band, Journey: "Don't Stop Believing!"

Sometimes... many times... faith decisions do not make sense economically. In Kingdom work the first thing to consider is not money! Although "counting the cost" financially is a Biblical mandate before engaging in a war or constructing an edifice, "counting the cost" spiritually -- in light of advancing the Kingdom of God - is the priority. There is no monetary value you can place on a soul!

I am looking forward to preaching at River Hills this weekend on The Journey! Here are the three main ideas I will be talking about this weekend:

• Our family's Journey to River Hills Church
• The Journey Forward
